G.I.Joe came apart in little Jordan's hand. The head popped off, the legs went loose and soupy and the arm fell into the cuff of his pants, to be found before bedtime. He kept the pieces in a cleaned out jam jar with other assorted items; clock pieces, washers, a zipper head, you know. Years later, as a teenager, he pulled the jar out to reminisce and maybe find a little something to make art out of.
